THE BAND
Having shared stages with Noel Gallagher, Manic Street Preachers, Travis, Will Young, Texas, The Darkness, Pixie Lott, Ray Davies (The Kinks), Roger Daltrey, Status Quo and Toploader, the members of Great Scott! have become some of the south's most sort after musicians. They have also recorded with Bonnie Tyler, Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, John Lennon), Geoff Downes (Asia, Buggles), Corrine Bailey Ray, Blake and actors from Glee. Rachael has also provided backing vocals for Paul Young and Tony Hadley.
Great Scott! have had the pleasure of performing at the wedding of Olympic gold medallist Helen Glover MBE and TV presenter and naturalist Steve Backshall in Cornwall and even more recently were the chosen band to play at Alison and Jake Wood's (Actor) wedding blessing in Hertfordshire.
Great Scott! have a charismatic and captivating stage presence with a unique interaction with their audiences. When combined with a strong repertoire of songs, the dance floor is seldom empty. Adding a few of their own unique touches, Great Scott! add a fresh approach to some of the best loved songs. Seamlessly transferring from one song to the next, ‘Great Scott!’ take the pros of a DJ and mix it with the live atmosphere generated by a solid live band.
Great Scott! have played at some of the south's most prestigious venues. These include; The BIC, The Ritz, Boisdale, Hampton Court Palace, Goodwood racecourse, The Royal Opera House, The Savoy, Portsmouth Guildhall, Southampton Guildhall, The O2 in London, St Mary’s Stadium and Broadlands. They have also travelled to Spain, Italy and Guernsey to perform at weddings and corporate functions. Most recently, ‘Great Scott!’ played on the main stage at Victorious Festival for the second year running, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry.
RACHAEL is a professional singer/songwriter/producer who has carved out a very successful career in the music industry. She has worked with top producers and played at some of the UK's most prestigious venues.
Rachael is currently working for Northstar Music Publishing as a songwriter and session musician and has had the opportunity to work alongside some fantastic artists and businesses including Paul McCartney's publishing company MPL, updating selections from his catalogue.
Rachael is a vegetarian, she has a dog called Bella who pretends to be a Shih tzu but is infact a Pug tzu. You don't fool us Bella!
ASH is a multi instrumentalist, songwriter and producer/engineer. He has dedicated his life to music and production and has a BA honours degree in Music Technology.
Ash revels in all things creative, whether it be web design, film production/editing, Photoshop or all things musical. His attention to detail is paramount.
Ash works for Northstar Music Publishing, pitching music for film and tv. He has been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to produce and re-work tracks for Paul McCartney's publishing company MPL. He also works as a successful session musician, whether it be for bass, guitar, piano or vocals.
Ash is a massive Beatles fan, loves Disaronno and watching all the Rocky movies back to back on a weekly basis.
EDDY is an accomplished, award winning guitarist and musician, spending many years playing worldwide and perfecting his craft.
When Eddy is not shredding away with 'Great Scott!', he is either playing at international Jazz festivals or at West End shows.
With a reputation that proceeds him, Eddy is an extremely sought after session musician. With his versatility, he fits in perfectly with any musical endeavour.
Not only is Eddy a fantastic guitarist and songwriter, he also plays Banjo, Piano, Drums and Melodica to a very high standard.
Eddy occasionally dresses up as a Ghostbuster and likes to think he impresses the ladies with his proton pack.
GREG is a world-class drummer with a driving, distinctive style. He studdied at Tech Music School in London and has played numerous gigs and festivals across the UK.
Running in the family, Greg's love of drums comes from his Dad who past down his sticks to him when he was only three years old.
Greg is often mistaken for Olly Murs and will occasionally break into one of his songs to keep the ladies happy.
CHRIS is a very talented bass player, performer and producer. He has played in various bands such as Hellcyon, Jesserit and ‘Til Dusk where he had the opportunity to support big acts such as Status Quo, Toploader and Roger Daltrey.
Chris does a lot of session work, playing with various singer/songwriters such as current chart sensation Emma Stevens.
Chris brings a lot of energy to the band and his stage presence is infectious.
Chris loves dancing, BBQ ribs and doesn't like wearing shoes. Sadly ET is not a permanent member of the band nor does Chris know how to contact him.
